Sometimes in Life, we Reach a Breaking Point
Why it is not the end, but rather the beginning of something amazing
--
You hit a wall, your world is crashing around you, everything will be okay, here is why…
Sometimes in life, we reach a breaking point.
At some point, we all hit a wall. It is at this point that we begin to see our flaws and learn from them. To understand that difficulties are not a punishment but rather a means of personal development.
You're at your most lucid when you’re in a zen state of mind. Your reflection becomes clearer and clearer as you begin to see yourself in it. This happened to me just the other day. My walls began to crash around me, I felt as though I could no longer breathe.
By changing my thoughts into a gentle ocean breeze, my thoughts were freed, and I could see everything clearly. There aren’t many times like this. They should never be forgotten and should be protected at all times.
In our human condition, we have a difficult time dealing with change or obstacles in our path. New opportunities are making it difficult for us to accept responsibility and move forward. At some point, however, the rage and support turn into a relentless assault of hopelessness and fragility. When negative thoughts and feelings of guilt overwhelm you. As if there is no light at the end of the tunnel, you are overcome with emotions.
The Tipping Point
Gladwell defines a tipping point as
“the moment of critical mass, the threshold, the boiling point.”
When your life is at its darkest, I believe this is your tipping point. Crashing to the bottom, we begin fighting for our life. There is no way to go but up, and as we look up, we see the potential and the experiences — instead of darkness, we begin to see light.
“That magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire.” — Gladwell
