Keep Calm and Carry On
Sometimes in life, we reach a breaking point. A point at which we begin to realize the mistakes we have made and start to push past them — to see challenges not as punishment but as an opportunity to grow. A clarity or realization — a Zen state of mind. When the blur of your reflection becomes clear.
I experienced this today. Not because I was faced with a challenge, but through a friend who was. In the face of turbulent challenge, his awareness and calmness was like an ocean breeze. He was able to wipe the obstructed angles clean, and his mind was set free. He was ready to see past this detrimental state and pull out a new and brighter outlook.
Moments like this one are rare, and not be taken lightly. At all costs, moments like these, should be protected.
As human beings, we have a hard time with change, obstacles, stressful times, and/or events getting in our way. We also have a hard time taking responsibility and moving forward with change.
However, there are also times when our angered minds crash into fragility and despair. When feelings of negativity and guilt take over, there is no bright side.
