Hi,

I don’t agree with the ADHD thought, but, everything else, I can definitely see why technology has a part. One of my theories is that there’s an increase in ADHD children because those who are THRIVING in this society are those who are faster aka people with ADHD. Therefore they are having more babies. Depression, increases because its almost impossible to feel like you've fulfilled anything. Its one against the whole world. According to ICT “The proportion of young people aged 15–24 using the Internet (71%) is significantly higher than the proportion of the total population using the Internet (48%).

So basically we are competing against 3 billion internet users, no time to adjust. According to Money magazine, the number of Internet users has increased from 738 million in 2000 to 3.2 billion in 2015. Almost 10 FOLD!

No way to keep up.

Mental illnesses like ADHD are chemically driven, an imbalance. One does not randomly acquire ADHD. You either have it or you don't, and if you do… it is life long.

Other than those opinions I had your article is amazing and I agree.

I read somewhere that actually parents are having a hard time raising their children while having an Alexa or google. The instant gratification… well in the real world it just does not exist.

I Know I am no PHD professor, and I am typing this with in the 10 min that I have of WiFi. before I go back to my place (no wifi no data) <- not my decision my roommate moved out and took it with her… But, its an addiction because I am SUFFERING. I am angry and annoyed. The need to be connected is a problem.
