5 Steps to Fight the Mid-20 Blues

So, if you are 23–25 you may have a case of the mid-20s blues.

What is this?

This period in your life consists of; feeling burned-out, lost, worried, or uninspired. A time where you just feel like you are flowing with the motions of life and that every day is just another day. In other words, you just do what you need to do. I like to describe this as doing life in semi-auto-pilot mode. Which I’d describe to be period where some days just disappear, and other days when you are totally aware.

The days of awareness can be brutal. Why? Because you notice that life is basically in fast forwarding. You notice how not in control you are of your life as if work, family, and life have taken the wheel and you are just sitting back and watching time go by. Like watching the movie of your life fast forward trapped in a never ending a time lapse of your own personal cityscape.

What about if this isn't me?

Maybe you are one of the few that have no idea what I am talking about! Thinking “my life is great! I still have the same passion and inspiration that I had when I was 19–22 years old!” Or you are like ummm I’m way older than 25 or I’m still a teenager. No matter which person you are, keep reading! Because I promise it will be worth it.
